The end of the world
The End of the World
In the School Journal I read the end of the world by John O, Brien.
"Frog sat beside the stream, tears rolling down his fat green cheeks. He sobbed and sobbed, as though it was the saddest day in all his life." This story was average, I like a story that is more outdoorsy.

Conservation week Poem
The Ika Poem
I swam as fast as I could
to the closest coral reef
boats chasing me
skimming across the water
Like a flying fish
White tips of the waves crashing
Finally
the reef
pretty pink, blue, and yellow coral shining off the water
then it was silent
the deep, blue moana
it was like... nothing.
Suddenly
sharp grey hooks
Descend down slowly
ika swam up
and vanished
I scream sharply
warning every fish in the reef
Splash!
Then it was silent ..

Simple Machines
Simple Machines
I learnt that there are 6 simple machines in the world. They are called inclined plane, wedges, screws, levers, wheels and axles and pulleys. One thing I learnt from an inclined plane; an inclined plane is a ramp that is on a slight angle and it makes it easy for people on wheelchairs to get up on something. The smaller the angle is on the ramp, even if this increases the distance, it is easier to get up the incline.

I am reading a fiction book. Called armistice Runner to lives connected by memory Tom Palmer
My Favorite part of the book was when they were talking about The two lives comparing to each other, Could his incredible story of bravery help her reconnect with her gran and even give her the inspiration she needs to push through and win.

Hedgehogs are cute, clever, and have an amazing spiky defence system. It’s easy to see why people like them. Problem is, they are also very harmful here in NZ. It’s not their fault of course (they didn’t swim here themselves), but it is something we all need to be much more aware of them.
